Moms and grandmas – you are the heart of the family. It’s my mission to help you pursue your God given dream for your family.
As a mom of three and nonna of six, I recognize we have the highest calling to train up future generations. It’s also the most challenging job.
With compassion and a love for the family, it’s my deepest desire to help you – mom or grandma.
Moms and grandmas need encouragement, affirmation, support, training and prayer.
We live in a fast-paced and disconnected world.
In today’s fast-paced, technology driven world, moms and grandmas have much competition.
Families have less time together. Dad is away working. Often, extended family is no longer close by.
Mom has many hats to wear and balls to juggle. She has greater demands on her time.
Media and social influences compete with family values.
As grandmas, we have the challenge of:
– trying to keep up with technology and
-juggling our time between our husband, children, grandchildren and aging parents.
As a mom or grandma, do you feel that you face many challenges?
After years of experience nurturing a family, it is my pleasure to help you, mom or grandma, with the challenges and responsibilities you have to keep your heart ablaze for God while you serve your family.
My expertise is born out of both the successes I have had and the mistakes I have made.
Experience is the mother of wisdom.
As a young Christian mom, I wanted to be the best mom I could be. This meant I tried to perform double duty. You know – burn the candlestick at both ends.
I would stay up late to get everything done and I would attempt to rise before my children, in the morning, to spend time with the Lord.
Usually, I ended up exhausted. I wrestled with finding alone time with the Lord while not taking away from family responsibilities.
As a grandma, this is where I live right now.
It takes determination, along with good planning, to shuffle between time with the Lord, my husband, my children, my grandchildren, my mom and every other responsibility I carry.
Sometimes I grow weary from the many different hats I wear and from the many different relationships I attempt to nurture.
You can find time to nurture your relationship with the Lord while serving your family.
Family responsibilities are challenging and time consuming; but, you can find that quiet space to both recharge your batteries and grow in your relationship with the Lord.
As your coach and mentor, I will help you find the rhythm of grace that fits your life and give you the support and encouragement to help you stay focused on your mission of serving your family well – while taking really good care of yourself.
You really can live a spirit-filled, abundant life as you lovingly serve Him and your family.
On a Personal Note
My husband, Julian, and I have been married for 36 years. Together we have 3 grown children, a daughter-in-law and son-in-law and 6 grandchildren, one of which I look forward to seeing again one day in heaven. Halo, our cat, is also part of our family.
We live in lovely Lititz, PA surrounded by beautiful state game lands.
God and family are the core of my life. I love going out to breakfast with my husband, spending special time together with my children, their spouses, my grandchildren and spending Sunday’s with my mom.
You might also find me enjoying a brisk walk at a nearby park, or visiting a local café for a warm cup of tea with a good book to read or a Bible study to work on.
I love sitting around the table and talking with friends. I, also, love the opportunity to pray with friends.
People who know me say I am a gifted, passionate speaker – known by some as a firecracker speaker, a compassionate, encouraging coach and mentor and a committed and loyal mom and nonna.
